Well...since it's been like 3 months since my last post, thought I'd say something. So, spring break is over which means back to classes and work. I work as an extended care teacher for the Christian school at my church, so I was off work all last week. It was great. It was a much needed break...my only complaint...it wasn't long enough. I've been really busy with school, work, and youth ministry stuff. I lead the young women's ministry for the youth, and that's caused a bit of a handful....especially with the way some of them have been acting lately. Making me want to smack some of them. If only it was part of the job description...aahh, can always dream, right?

We are also planning to take a mission trip to Washington, D.C. and go to Dallas, TX for YFN youth camp. One of the other leaders and myself are not only planning to go ourselves but also helping the youth pastor with the organization of the trips. So, I already know my summer will be pretty much insane with these things falling right in the middle and filling up about a month of the summer. I'm actually pretty excited about it.

God is working a lot right now, not only just at church or in the youth ministry but also in my life personally. Everything's been really good the last 3 months...a little crazy but interesting and good. Honestly, I haven't posted in a while b/c I just got tired of the whole weblog thing, but I've figured 'what the heck, I'll post something'.

Well, I think that's good for now. I'll try not to make it so long before my next entry. But til next time, make the most and best of everything. You only live once, so don't ruin it just because you didn't feel like it.

Why You're Naughty: That dark stint you had as Santa's private dancer.

wooo....it's been a while. I'm bored so, guess I'll post about my weekend. On Saturday, my church had a Christmas party at our mission for the children from one of the inner-city elementary schools. We gave a brand new winter coat, hat, and gloves to over 200 children. We also gave each a present and a bag of groceries to make a Christmas dinner for each family. Each child was given a message about Christ, took a pic w/Santa & Mrs. Clause and enjoyed some delicious cake & punch.  It was really amazing! I had the opportunity to hand out the presents. I can't fully describe the experience appropriately. It just made my heart melt seeing all those faces light up. I wanted to cry...and I almost did! Those kids were sooo adorable. I just wanted to take some of them home with me! If anyone else gets the chance to help others in this way, I highly encourage it! I'm glad God allows me to help with events like this...it lets me understand why He has called me to do what has called me to do (if you know me well, you know what that is). This officially goes down as one of my top 5 best, most favorite experiences! Everyone have a wonderful Christmas break!
